A Map of Laos & Thailand

Red Spokes most popular tour is a fascinating trip beginning in Northern Thailand, progressing through Northern Laos and finishing in the capital Vientiane. You will witness some of the most breath-taking scenery in Asia.

Laos is a beautiful, quiet and still relatively untouched by the western values. It's mountainous and land-locked, with a population of only 6 million people who have a reputation for being amongst the most friendly and welcoming in the world. With its spectacular scenery and its rich and diverse culture what better view could there be of Laos/Thailand than the view from a bike?

The tour enters Laos across the Mekong from Thailand, followed by a spectacular boat trip down the river before exploring the lush jungles of the northern mountains. We take a break in Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. This ancient royal city, full of exquisite Buddhist Temples, where time seems to stand still, is a magical place to explore and rest. Some serious riding then takes us to the sleepy capital of Vientiane, situated on the banks of the Mekong.
